CLASSES

UCSD Wushu practices contemporary Chinese wushu, an exhibition martial art that emphasizes speed, flexibility, and power. We focus on learning long fist, a primarily long range combative style with fully extended strikes, a balance of hand and foot techniques, and the inclusion of many acrobatic techniques, which we then apply to weapons such as sword and staff. â€‹
